I started Objektiv after over 25 years of building high-performing teams, growing successful businesses, and developing talent that delivered results across a variety of industries and markets. Over the decades I saw first-hand that the right people with the right vision and the right support can achieve breakthrough results.

For almost three decades Matt has been involved in all aspects of building and running successful businesses and organizations. His hands-on experience designing and delivering data analytics solutions early in his career gave way to leading large engagements for dozens of startup, Fortune 100, and federal agency clients. Before starting Objektiv, he was a partner at a 3-person technology consulting startup, helping to build it into a 300-person powerhouse that consistently won service delivery, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement awards. He also served as the volunteer board president for a non-profit helping homeless families gain the skills and confidence necessary to end the cycle of poverty forever. With the same innovation and collaboration he brought to his business roles, Matt helped to expand the impact, strengthen the team, and grow the organization's $3M budget, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. His involvement in all areas of business -- from strategy, business development, marketing, talent management, organizational design, operations, and solution delivery -- gives him a unique perspective that proves invaluable to Objektiv's customers and partners.

Matt graduated from the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce with a degree in Information Systems and Marketing. He's thrilled to be back in Charlottesville with his college sweetheart and love of his life, Mary, along with their two kids and fellow Wahoos.
